God could have created the universe any way he wanted. He could have created the universe in the following way:

Condensed Evolution Theory:

God evolved man from the big bang in 6 literal 24 hour days 6,000 years ago.

If space-time is constant and not time, space is expanding at a cube rate since there are three spatial dimensions. The cube root of time, 13,800,000,000 is 2,400 years.

I am not necessarily saying this is how God created the universe. I am only saying that this is how God COULD have created the universe. If you recognize that we are here, you are admitting that miracles occur. You could consider it a miracle to compress the big bang and evolution into only 6 literal days but so is the initial creation of time, space, and energy a miracle. We had to come from somewhere. One could explain that the reason that many scientists believe that man evolved from a big bang is that God did use a compressed evolutionary TYPE process in 6 literal 24 hour days 6,000 years ago. You can avoid death before sin with an evolutionary TYPE process. You can get all the fossils from the flood in an evolutionary TYPE process. Only about a 1000 kinds are needed on the Ark, not 30,000,000 species. God could have easily picked the young small ones and made the animals hibernate for a year during the flood. If they hibernate you don't even have to feed or clean up after them. If you stack the baby levels 10 high, all 1000 animals would fit in a living room easily if they snuggle together to hibernate. You could also consider hibernating a miracle, but then so was the flood. It has been recently determined that there is several times the volume of the oceans of water underground today. That is where the water went. I believe that God performs most miracles within science but sometimes steps outside of science to perform miracles.

The Condensed Evolution Theory combines the best of creation and science with no discrepancy whatsoever other than being condensed. Note that all the dating methods are compressed as well. That is why they seem to indicate billions of years.

Scientist assume that passage of time is a constant, but if space-time is a constant, since space is getting bigger, time is slowing down. This would make the Big Bang about six thousand years ago.
God also says that the Earth will not be moved from its orbit around the sun, galaxy, and universe:

1CHRONICLES 16:30 Fear before him, all the earth: the world also shall be stable, that it be not moved.

PSALM 93:1 The LORD reigneth, he is clothed with majesty; the LORD is clothed with strength, wherewith he hath girded himself: the world also is stablished, that it cannot be moved.

PSALM 96:10 Say among the heathen that the LORD reigneth: the world also shall be established that it shall not be moved: he shall judge the people righteously.

PSALM 104:5 Who laid the foundations of the earth, that it should not be removed for ever.

There are multiple explanations of the origins of mankind even within the Christian community, therefore, 'The Bible in the Bible' does not take a position on the matter. However, given that we now have an indisputable mathematical proof that the Creator of the universe wrote the Holy Bible, it must remain strictly within the confines of a literal interpretation of Genesis.

That said, creation is considered a religion and some say it goes against the first amendment to be taught in public schools as a required course. 'The Theory of Biblical Patterns' however is a valid, provable, mathematical theory that NO ONE can disprove and is therefore NOT a religion and CAN be taught in public schools as a required course.
